Getting Electricity Service – AI Namoos

 

What is AI Namoos Service for Getting Electricity?

The only people who can use this service are consultants or contractors.

In December 2014, DEWA introduced Al Namoos, an Emirati dialect term for racing winners. For all projects up to 150 kW, it has been modified to deliver electrical connections in just two steps over the course of five days.

 

AI Namoos Service – Procedure

The following criteria are used by DEWA to categorize Al Namoos Projects:

  • fresh and permanent ties to the location.
  • Up to 150 kW of load.
  • energy supply from the current DEWA network.

A low-voltage inspection request can be made to Al Namoos by electrical contractors or experts. After paying the connection cost, DEWA will complete the exterior work, install the meters, and complete the connection.

  • Five days are needed to finish.

Service Description

With the help of this service, DEWA registered Solar Consultants and Contractors can submit applications for Solar Permits and Connections online and receive DEWA clearance for their Solar NOC, Solar Design, and invoice. Additionally, customers can keep tabs on the status of their applications and communicate with DEWA as the project moves along.
